What happens if the inspection result is unfavorable?
The town hall sets a deadline, usually between 3 and 12 months depending on the severity, to carry out the necessary repairs and submit a certificate confirming the deficiencies have been resolved.
What are the most common defects in older facades?
The most frequent are cracks, render detachment, dampness from water infiltration, deterioration of balconies and overhanging elements, and rebar corrosion, which can compromise safety if not treated in time.
Is a facade report required to sell a property?
Yes, for buildings subject to mandatory inspection, regulations require a copy of the technical report to be handed over at the time the property is transferred.
