Insulate from the outside, without moving anyone from inside.

The building at Cuba 14-16, in Es Portixol, had an aged façade with poor thermal insulation. The intervention consisted of installing an ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System): insulation panels fixed directly onto the existing enclosure, followed by mesh, bonding mortar, and final finish.

The entire process was executed using suspended work platforms, working floor by floor and façade by façade, with the building occupied at all times. Height safety coordination, protection of balconies and windows, and sequencing of work to minimize disturbance to residents.

The result: a building with better thermal performance, lower energy demand, and a completely renovated exterior appearance, transforming from an aged façade to a uniform white finish.
